Potaroo.net IPv4 automatic tool "jumped" back 3 months !!! Is this a "rush to the end" ?

IANA exhaustion date is now March 10, 2010.
RIR day is somewhere in Sept. 2011 !!!
What's going on ?

We are down to so few /8 blocks left that one allocation, in this case Afrinic, throws everything off.
