IPv6 & Networking the Internet of Things

I use RADVD to announce my IPv6 router info on my Linux firewall. One thing a router advertisement is supposed to do is provide the address of a DHCP server, where further info can be obtained. Currently, any computer that uses IPv4 DHCP on my network receives info about DNS, time server etc., but any computer with static IPv4 address has to be manually configured for that info. Is it possible to add the DHCP server info into the router advertisements?

It depends on what you're using to do RA. Most implementations dont support it; the recommendation is normally to run ra for addresses and dhcp for other info
