Hi, Everyone.
Sorry if this issue seems redundant.
What I did:
1.downloaded and installed gogoc
2.edited (/etc/gogoc/gogoc.conf) userid and password
3.sudo /etc/init.d/gogoc start
4.it returned (* Not starting gogoc - no server key)
5.ran (sudo /usr/sbin/gogoc -n) to get server key
6.checked server key in (/var/lib/gogoc/gogockeys.pub) it was there
7.changed server in (/etc/gogoc/gogoc.conf) to the corresponding server from the server key.
8.it returned (* Not starting gogoc - no server key)
9.edited (/etc/default/gogo) to CHECK_KEYFILE="no"
10.sudo service gogoc start, it returned (* Not starting gogoc - no server key)
11. when i simply typed (gogoc), it returned (Failed to open specified file.
Last status context is: Configuration validation.
Finished)
12. when sudo gogoc, nothing was returned but it was also not working. when (pidof gogoc) it showed that it was running.
Question:
what am i doing wrong? and should i configure Sysv Runlevel (sudo sysv-rc-conf) for gogoc?
Thank you in advance, I hope this is not confusing in anyway

--Update--
Thanks for your responses. It was solved by me simply not using any credentials (anonymous).
I can see the gogo dancer and google using ipv6.google.com
I am, however, suffering from a very slow ping response rate--probably my ISP.

Make sure you follow all steps in the Install document in the archive. You need to run both gmake and make (without any errors) to get the executable, then run the binary from from /usr/local/gw6c/bin (or /usr/local/gogoc/bin) via a simple "sudo gogoc" command as shown in the Install document instructions.
Also try running the default conf file with anonymous login. If you have a 64bit version of Linux then some changes are needed.

I knew the answer was simple...

Permalink Reply by Patrick Johnson on June 11, 2011 at 7:25pm It works well in my Ubuntu natty .
Before you do anything please, sign up with gogo6.com first
1. download the package from gogo6.com site.
2. extract the gogoc-1_RELEASE tar.gz file
3. sudo apt-get install build-essential
4.sudo apt-get install gogoc
5. sudo apt-get update
6. type gogoc (Failed to open specified file.Last status context is: Configuration validation.Finished.) but run at the back
7.Test it on any IPV6 testing site. Boom! That's it
The gogoc is part of the Ubuntu packages, so (in theory as I haven't tried it myself) it doesn't need to be downloaded from gogonet, search for "TSP" on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IPv6 to see the instructions
