IPv6 products, community and services

After a little bit of work we now have Geekzone (www.geekzone.co.nz) with IPv6 connectivity through our hosting/colocation provider ICONZ.

Visitor to the site through an IPv6 connection will see a different header with a green IPv6 over our usual logo. We decided to keep the same URL to avoid search engines seeing "duplicated" content.

We also have a test page as ipv6.geekzone.co.nz - it is only visible through IPv6 connections and the only output is your IP address, confirming you can "see" our host.

A few bits and pieces to finish but otherwise a painless experience, as a content provider.

Great to see more content available via IPv6.. well done :-)
Hey, great stuff.... however I cannot seem to connect to it at the moment. :-(
I'm not getting any AAAA records for www.geekzone.co.nz or ipv6.geekzone.co.nz

Did you take down the IPv6 for some reason?
We have moved hosting providers 1st September. While we got a more robust datacentre, much higher bandwidth and lower latency we did not have access to IPv6 on its core, so had to take down that service.

Since everyhing is still in place on our side, as soon as they can provide IPv6 connectivity we will reactivate the AAAA records.
Hi Ben, great to see New Zealand's most high profile Geek going IPv6 before ... well everyone. Any other plans for IPv6 in your domain(s) or was this (connectivity) the sole object of the exercise?
