The Xavier University  College of Computer Studies and the Department of Science and Technology- Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST-ASTI) will be having a Beginners’ Training Workshop on IPv6 on October 12-13, 2011 (8:00am- 5:00pm) at AVR-1 Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City.

 

The training aims to promote IPv6 adoption in the Philippines and prepare organizations with proper technical knowledge on migration and deployment strategies of the new Internet Protocol. The 2-day training will be divided into two parts: the IPv6 training workshop and IPv6 deployment workshop. Participants with substantial knowledge in computer network concepts, basic IPv4 routing and troubleshooting are highly appreciated.
