Just wanted you to know there is a website for IPv6 on Windows: http://www.windows-ipv6.org/. You can post questions in the forum or answer questions from others about IPv6.

What are the test we can do to the DNS's with IPv6 in a company are doing their job? Reverse, PT, etc.

Thanks a lot

For testing reverse DNS I use the Linux/Unix command 'dig'. I imagine you could find websites for this if you do some online searches for it, though I don't have one to recommend personally. You'll have to check about the dhcpv6 gui for the OS you are using. On the Linux servers I administer I have been in the habit of directly editing the config files. They are not too complicated, and there is a decent amount of docs and examples online.

Thank you Alvaro, very good test site, i have use it.

Thanks Stickney, I used it with an IPv4 site. For IPv6 Ishould paste an script to demonstrate that the web is available from IPv6.

Do you Know some tool for reverse DNS test?

Is there some DHCPv6 server GUI?

Hi Jorge,

Yu can check your web site using http://validador.ipv6.br.

Hope this helps.

Hello Jorge, Sure, you can check with http://ipv6webproxy.com/ (free of charge). It appears to be hosted out of Rackspace's Dallas Ft. Worth datacenter in Texas, USA. Otherwise I can test from France if that helps. Feel free to send me your domain name if you like.
