Watching APNIC's dwindling v4 blocks one can see they will run out of all v4 blocks, except the last block, by April 2011. The trend is shown at http://www.apnic.net/community/ipv4-exhaustion/graphical-information, while iNetCore counters also show April as X-Day date for APNIC, see www.ipv6forum.org

IANA just assigned the last 2 free /8 blocks of IPv4 to APNIC. The 5 remaining blocks will go to reach regional registry within a few days.

Google IPv6 conference was held June 10 -11 and presenters came from major ISPs as well as mobile operators & vendors.
On mobility, T-Mobile, NSN and Ericsson talked about their transition tests and NAT64 experience. Ericsson highlighted application access tests using IPv6-only hosts to reach popular web apps (like Facebook, Skype, on-line games, etc.) and finding out what breaks and why.
