It seems that the IPv6 connectivity between gogonet.gogo6.com and the SixXS PoP in Belgium is either really slow or simply broken... No IPv6 ping from my SixXS home to this web site (while I have no…Continue

50% of BitTorrent peers are native IPv6

By checking the status of IPV6 deployment by running a fake BitTorrent client, we can get another view on IPv6 deployment than Google or APnic: big organizations (Universities, corporations, ...) usually block BitTorrent, so, we are left with residential subscribers mainly...Some countries (including my very own Belgium!) have then more than 50% of the BT peers able to do IPv6.Why?Of course, BT users are not the proverbial grand-ma doing only webmail and they usually pay for an expensive…See More

My security talk at GogoNET Live! Help me to select between extension headers and operations :-)

Security is often cited as a blocking point by organizations to deploy IPv6. Based on several interactions with organizations being at the verge of deploying IPV6 (or being busy deploying it!), I hesitate between two security topics for GogoNET Live. Which one would you prefer? Comments and suggestions are welcome :-)

Topic #1: Security issue with extension headers and fragmentation

Not all network devices can handle extension headers,…

Salut
