Jeff Doyle replied to Bruce Sinclair's discussion 'Large Scale NATs'
"Hi Bruce, Very late joining this discussion, but I've been having some conversations about LSNs lately that are relevant. Considering that LSNs exist primarily as a solution to the fact that end users need new addresses which can only be…"

EIGRPv6

I haven't worked with EIGRPv6 in production environments, and have a question about its internal structure. I had assumed that "EIGRP for IPv6" entailed adding a new protocol module to the existing EIGRP implementation (just as there are IPv4, AppleTalk, and IPX modules). However, someone recently stated that EIGRPv6 is actually an entirely separate protocol. So if you configure a Cisco router to route both IPv4 and IPv6 via EIGRP, you are running two different routing protocols on the router…See More

"Hi Bruce, Any contacts you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to get data for a paper on the topic, and would like to give some picture of the current state of practical IPv6 multicast deployment. Thanks, Jeff"

Ok, will look for the presentation, names. I did a search on Multicast here and came up with 3 names of people who put it in their profile. You may want to add a comment with each of them to see if they have anything...

Hi Jeff, I'd have to research this for the details but I'm aware of a data multicast in Japan for a convenience store chain - I think Family Mart. I met one of the integrators and then I saw a presentation on it it I think at APNIC in Taiwan last year.
