Joe Klein is a 30-year veteran of the IT and IA industry. He has extensive experience in DoD, US Government and commercial sectors, focusing on information assurance, network security and IPv6. Mr. Klein is often requested to speak at professional security venues and routinely participates in high-level government working groups as an expert on secure implementation of IPv6.

Past speaking engagements include Black Hat, Defcon, Toorcon, SecTor, PhreakNic, NOVAHA, Information System Security Professionals (ISSA), Google, IPv6 Task Force, IPv6 Advanced Security Conference, University of Wisconsin, University of North Florida, and US Federal government agencies. Joe has also written and delivered his 4 day “IPv6 Hacking and Defending” to select network, security and systems administrators in US Government. This class is expected to be offered to the general community starting in 2011.

As Cyber Security Principal Architect at QinetiQ North America, Joe spends his days developing cyber security ‘leap-ahead’ technologies. Joe is a member of the IPv6 Forum and the North American IPv6 Task
Force, serving as a CyberSecurity SME.
