Summary - why you are here, your IPv6 experience, what you are working on, ...: Salman Asadullah is a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco Systems and Fellow at IPv6 Forum. As a recognized expert within Cisco and the industry, Salman has been architecting large-scale IP and multiservice networks for over a decade. Salman represents Cisco in worldwide industry panel discussions and technical platforms such as Networks Operators Groups (NOG), APRICOT, IETF, SCTE, BBF, IPv6 Technical Forums, CiscoLive and etc.

Salman influences technology directions and decisions with Cisco business units and customers and Internet community at large. Salman is a co-author and contributor of IETF IDs and RFCs. Salman has produced several technical articles, white papers, as well as three networking technology books, Cisco CCIE Fundamentals: Network Design & Case Study, PDIO of the IPT Networks, and Deploying IPv6 in Broadband Access Networks.

Salman is a Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE No.2240) and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Kansas.
